Aim: We are
gathering views from service users and other interested parties to
help us achieve a comprehensive understanding of what is working
and what can be improved on in drug and alcohol treatment
services.
Events: Those
who joined the consultation were asked to participate
in activities that identified what helped and hindered
their treatment journey and what elements of treatment services
they valued.
Outcome: The
responses gathered at this event will be collated in
an evaluation report for the KDAAT operations team.
Tier 4 inpatient detoxification
consultation

Aim: We are
gathering views from service users and other interested parties to
help us achieve a comprehensive understanding of the factors that
are most valuable or important in an in-patient detoxification
facility.
Events: Those
who joined the consultation were asked to participate in
small discussion groups that will be facilitated by members of the
KDAAT Service User Expert Group.
Outcome: The
responses gathered at this event were collated into a
confidential document that will be submitted with the inpatient
detoxification evaluation report to the KDAAT Board.
